Reiki Therapy is one to several individual Reiki sessions where the person receives Reiki from a Reiki therapist. The session is offered to a fully clothed recipient who is lying on a treatment table.
Reiki is offered through light, non-invasive touch with the practitioner’s hands placed and held on a series of locations. The placement of the hands is never intrusive or inappropriate. The session lasts an hour and fifteen minutes more or less.
Reiki treatment is considered safe because Reiki is practiced through light touch, also no substance is ingested. If necessary, Reiki can also be offered without any contact.
Reiki can be transferred and performed face to face as well as from distance —enkaku Reiki—. Remote Reiki sessions have the same effectiveness, and induces the same relaxation as face-to-face treatments.
For distance Reiki sessions an appointment is scheduled; 10 minutes before the appointment you will receive a message to remind you to be ready. A video call is made after the treatment to comment on the sensations and receive some feedback.
